From MC, to DJ, club owner, founder of a record label, and creator of the Superfreq parties, Mr.C has done it all. As a DJ, his ability to control a dance floor has earned him the reputation as one of the best in the scene. With the creation of Superfreq, Mr. C has taken djing and partying to a whole new level and proven that his parties, music, and visions are ahead of his time.

Mr.C is founder & owner of Plink Plonk records, cofounder of End Recordings & cofounder & owner of Superfreq Records. Mr.C has recorded under the names, Myster-E, Nu Jacks, Bass Bureau, The Shamen, Mantrac, Somnambulist, Animus Amour, Killer Loop, Mr.C & Tom Parris & Mr.C & 16B.
He is best known as front man of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain & the number 1 hit Ebeneezer Goode. The Shamen also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year 1992. Richard’s currently recording solo as Mr.C or as the Sycophant Slags with his production partner Adultnapper with releases on Sexonwax, End Rec, Hallucination Ltd, Superfreq records, Bombis Records, Poker Flat Records & Wagon Repair Records & has EP’s in stores now under both monikers on both Poker Flat & Wagon Repair.

Dave Martin: Life, DC

The DMV has in its hands a remarkable talent by the name of Dave Martin. Chosen to spin next to the finest, Dave Martin is DC's top talent that has worked his way to present the best taste in house, disco and minimal techno from his beginnings in Baltimore to his sets at U Street Music Hall, Sweet Spot, Fur, Ultrabar and many other DC staple electronic music venues. Now you can find him as a resident artist for "We Are Life", one of the District's top techno and disco events where he has spun next to the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Dyed Soundorom, Davide Squillace, M.A.N.D.Y. and Maya Jane Coles.

Dave's most recent summer 2011 set performances at the Momentum Happy Hour and Rite of Wednesdays in New York City have made him a favorite from the DMV area thanks to his refined and sophisticated style.
