DJ Hi-Shock

A DJ career spanning 25 years and a veteran of Sydney's rave scene. Intoducing Sydney to the sounds of Belgium, Frankfurt, Berlin, Detroit and Chicago.

Label boss of Elektrax, Gynoid Audio, Hypnotic Room and AndroidMuziq. With over 20 releases to his name as Hi-Shock or Advanced Human and having released and remixed on such labels as Synewave and Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Hi-Shock is possibly Australia foremost and most prolific techno producer.

Currently the DJ Hi-Shock trademark sound is driving/hypnotic/dark/underground Techno, with a fusion of pounding drums, stunning percussion riffs and hypnotizing rhythms; while his productions under the Advanced Human alias focus on Deep Techno sound, that is rich with dub chords and atmospheres surrounded by intricate percussion and a drive aimed at the dance floor.

Known as one of the HAHA troubadours, and one half of the team behind JACK! with Mark Murphy, Magda pieces fuses together clever sets with sounds that refuse to be trademarked. Spanning anything from disco to techno, Chicago and Detroit to Berlin and London, it's got to groove and will most definitely move you.

Some may say her star is on the rise, those in that know say that it has well and truly risen.
