We here at Mixed Grill HQ are excited announce our first public party in a while…

Set in the basement of a Japanese restaurant we’ll be enjoying the sounds of Mr Beatnick and iO, alongside resident grillers Utting and Poj.

Mr Beatnick’s tracks have recently featured on Jamie XX’s essential mix, Giles Peterson’s worldwide show and Scuba’s DJ-Kicks compilation. As if that wasn’t enough he’s also done a mix for Mary Anne Hobbs and produced one of the few decent remixes of Marvin Gaye.

iO is one of the rising stars of the garage/house/future bass/noise/soul scene racking up over 5,000 plays on his soundcloud in the last few months and a nice shout out from the Mad Decent collective. We’ve been following him for the last few months now and really looking forward to hearing his sounds.
