Pretty Simple and Stable in conjunction with the Goethe Institut presents the talented German duo Trickski. Based in Berlin, DJs Yannick Labbé and Daniel Becker aka Trickski break new ground. With their first couple of releases in 2005 Trickski quickly won respect from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Mark Pritchard, Carl Craig, Peter Kruder and of course Jazzanova. They are also the A&R masterminds behind the hugely successful 12" series for Sonar Kollektiv, Members of the Trick. Late last year Carl Craig’s licensing of ‘Sweat’ for his Fabric Compilation, cemented the boys as an original and dynamic creative force. It led the way for many more brilliant EPs and a new label; Compost Records Black Label. This series began with the amazing ‘Hormony EP’ which ranked highly in many playlists and was subsequently repressed due to it’s enormous demand. For lovers of house and techno inspired rhythms, from the flavours of Berlin to Detroit, Trickski will display the full gammit encompassing the Sonar Kollectiv sound.
