Sounds Lovely Live is an occasional Live &/or Electronic Music Night, the first of which takes place in Baker Place, Limerick on Saturday October 8th 2011.

With performances from London based Throwing Snow ( Left_ Blank / Snow Fall ), mynameisjOhn, Dugdale and Huey you can look forward to an electric night of eclectic beats and captivating sets that cavort through dubstep, garage, beats, glitch, post rock and good times.



THROWING SNOW [ Left_Bank, Snow Fall, Ninja Tune, Domino ]
London based migrant Ross Tones makes music under the moniker Throwing Snow. Drawing influences from a vast array of genres encompassing dubstep, UK funky, house and post-rock, his productions have a consistent comforting warmth and glistening coldness.

Following his compelling debut on Alex Nut's Ho_Tep in late 2010, he has since been in constant demand for remixes, lending his cool hand to reworks of tracks by Gold Panda, Kidkanevil and Greymatter.

Radio support from Giles Peterson and Benji B followed with guest appearance on Sinden's Kiss Fm and Ministry of Sound.

2011 has seen Mr Tones establish two new labels, Left_Blank and Snow Fall, on which he released his own Un Vingt / Cronos Remixed.
With remixes for Domino and Ninja Tune in the works this hotly tipped producer will have little difficulty living up the hype.

His set at BUMP! Muzik Festival this summer was a festival highlight for many and we welcome his return to Ireland for the inaugural Sounds Lovely Live.

Dugdale's sounds are organic, harmonic and based on played music rather than just digital programming, often featuring vocals or vocal -derived sonics. 'Lowstep' goes a away to describing Dugdale's chilled, garage-influenced live electronic music.

Huey is an electro-acoustic musician who combines choice uplifting samples with original compositions presenting old classics in new ways and new work in the old style. One to listen out for.
