Guest DJ Licorice Soul Ed is a UK-based disco, funk and film music DJ with over 15 years of industry experience. He regularly appears on specialist music radio programmes and is one-third of independent funk reissue label Licorice Soul. DJ appearances followed, including London’s Jazz Café, Borderline and Aquarium clubs, and an annual gig at Club Agora in Norway. Alongside club DJ work, Ed is a passionate advocate of specialist music radio, with regular guest appearances on BBC Radio 6’s Craig Charles Funk Show, Ministry of Sound’s Far Side show with Bill Brewster,
Resonance FM’s O.S.T. show with Jonny Trunk and hip-hop station Itch FM alongside the Breakin’ Bread crew. Ed is also one of three partners in successful independent funk reissue label Licorice Soul Records, now in its third year of producing quality rare funk on vinyl.
