As from the start of October im pleased to announce Freeschool will be starting there residency at Happy Cycling!
Free School are maximalist and minimalist all at once. But in a good way. With their debut e.p ‘Ranting &Raving’ out now on Tirk Records and their debut album due later this year, Free School have been putting together a live show to win the hearts and minds of….well, people like you. Yes, you. Often compared to Caribou, Orbital and Lindstrom, think Hot Chip. Think Four Tet. Think Pet Shop Boys. The first and latter without the vocals. The middle one with more oomph. Fewer men than the first. More men than the middle one.

Happy Cycling is the new free weekly Thursday event, offering a wide spectrum of musical genres all perfectly suited to the bar lounge culture.
Dedicated to the bonus track on Boards Of Canada's First and (in my opinion) best Album "music has a right to children".
The Night itself encompasses all things Downtempo and Electronica.
Set at the newly refurbished Bullshead in the heart of Moseley, Happy cycling is perfect for after work lounging or an early start to the weekend ahead.

Local artist Posh One brings the newest sounds from the world of downtempo and chillout, whilst regular guest Djs from in and around Birmingham give us their take on chillout music.
