Cristi Cons (Amphia / Arpiar)
Born in a family of musicians, Cristi Cons didn't turn tipper and went around from the cello he's been playing since forever, to the electronic music field he's been activating in, for the last 4 years. With a chockfull musical theory background and a delicate ear, Cristi found his influences in jazz, dub, experimental and classical music, landing to production after only 2 years, alongside his livelong mate, Vlad Caia, building the SIT project.
His electronic influences were outlined by Rhadoo, Nutatia, one of his first productions, being included on the [a:rpia:r] 05 - Jurnal de bord. Following, the Case Sensitive alias got him a Danny Tenaglia, Luciano, Dario Zenker and Steve Bug appreciated release - Cappascap EP, at All Inn Black.
At the moment, Cristi's attention is concentrated on the SIT project, which he formed next to Vlad Caia, in the summer of 2009, SW8 being the place you will spot them for the first time performing in this crew, after scoring the Year 3000 release, at Kanzyani's sough-after Jesus Loved You.
His during the years musical influences brought his sets into a dynamic, readable and harmonious direction; where they're still kept, undoubtedly.
MarcMan (Te Iubesc Records/Wicked Society)
If you're a sucker for Mr. G's crazy, twisted beats, then you gotta love him. With a style that shouts oldschool house & techno all the way, MarcMan is our hottest breakthrough. Not only he's a dj but also a producer, MarcMan has "talent" written all over him when it comes to creating music.
If we turned your curiosity on, all you gotta do is turn your speakers loooud and give us a feedback. Born in Bacau, MarcMan found his passion for house music at age 13. At age 16 he bought his first equipment and began learning everything about mixing sounds and rhythms. Shortly after he decided to take a step forward and produce music. It was love at first sight and since then MarcMan hasn't stop experimenting and refining his own sound. During the last year he opened the night for Negru, NoiDoi, Praslea and Pedro. Besides that he was the main attraction at the best private parties in his own town.
Not only he's a dj but also a producer, Marcman has "talent" written all over him when it comes to creating music. Marcman had an exciting year with several releases at Quanticman Records, Homage Records and Dot One Records. His music receives a great feedback from artists like Sneak, Hector Moralez and Raresh. The future is full of excitement for this young artist because Marcman has released his first EP at The Factory Label, being the 3rd Romanian artist releasing at an american label. Preview for The Factory EP:
Heyos (Te Iubesc Records/Wicked Society)
Born on August 21th 1983 in Bucharest, Cristian Vulpe aka Heyos, inherits the passion for music and DJ-ing from his father who was also a DJ in the 70's. He grew up with music and at the age of 14 he discovered for the first time electronic music. Short time after that he realises that DJ-ing is what he desires to do in life, and started, from the age of 18, to learn by himself, stealing from what he saw other DJ's doing. For a small period of time he practices at a tiny local club, going on to become resident at some little clubs. In 2007 he begins to work very seriously in this direction and manages to play beside many great romanian DJ's of the moment, at afterhours partys. His music approaches styles such as house, deep house and techno with influences of Detroit , Chicago , Oldschool , Groovy and Funky.
