Line-up /Semtek, James Broomfield, Ed Cotton, Olly Hewett
You and your friends are invited to the second in a series of monthly parties hosted by Basement Boogaloo in a Stoke Newington Basement.
Thank you to everyone who packed the little red basement for last month's party, and to Alex Chase and Clause Four for turning in excellent sets. This time round we welcome good friends Semtek and James Broomfield, two of the brains behind the famed Lostbahnhof parties. In keeping with bonfire night, their jacking blend of house and techno promises dancefloor fireworks, whilst residents Ed Cotton and Olly Hewett will be on hand to add the disco sparklers.
As before, there are no advance tickets, capacity is limited and entry is by guest list only. On the night, entry for people on the list will be on a first-come / first-served basis until we're full. All you need to do is send the names and email addresses of you and your crew to email@example.com. There's no fixed entry price either - we'll just be asking you to pay what you can on the door.
Lostbahnhof have been running events in London since 2008, focusing on underground house and techno and their various offspring. Like ours, their parties take place in intimate venues where sweat drips off the walls and the atmosphere is unmatched. Guests have included Tobias Thomas, Neville Watson, In Flagranti, Oliver Ho, Nadia Ksaiba, Red Rack'em, and a host of other rising underground talents, all ably supported by residents James Broomfield, TK and Semtek, whose label Don't Be Afraid, has recently been riding high on the back of releases from Mr Beatnick and Semtek himself (complete with a killer DJ 3000 remix).
See you down the disco!
