- LAZER SWORD -
We’re beyond psyched to present to you a party with San Francisco natives Lazer Sword (AKA Anateus Roy and Bryant Rutledge, AKA Low Limit and Lando Kal). The duo’s crunk, club-rattling hybrid on Bay Area hip-hop , funk and bass music, coupled with the release of their 6-song EP, have gained them throes of fans across the US.
Now, the pair is set to release their self titled debut LP on November 2 via Innovative Leisure. The album showcases the signature, crazy diverse 8-bit, electro and rap sound that Lazer Sword has come to be known for, and features collaborations from Anti-Pop Consortium’s M. Sayyid, Zackey Force Funk and Turf Talk. These last few months have been a whirlwind journey for the wunderkinds of Lazer Sword. We’re just happy to be along for the ride.
- MIKE SLOTT -
Glasgow-born producer Mike Slott was raised on jazz, electronic, classical music and infuses all of those styles to make his unique brand of synth and percussive heavy hip hop-laden productions. Mike honed his electronic hip hop craft as a principal founder of the prestigious Scotland based record label LuckyMe and before moving full time to NYC, Mike recorded a 2009 EP entitled Lucky9Teen.
His rare ability to work together a wide variety of music has made him a well known innovator in the bass music scene. Though in the game a long time, Slott keeps impressing with his new approach to making breakneck ground-breaking music.
- RL GRIME -
RL Grime is Henry, an LA native, currently based in our fair city of New York - a quickly rising new figure in the scene, making swaths of self-described “future-crunk”. The most recent beat tape, Clipz, is out now via We Did It Collective.
