Two of Radio Frequency’s friends are having their birthday’s this month so we thought why not have a double birthday bash!

Union Recordings 5th Birthday and Second to None Music 1st Birthday.

Room 1

"This time round Radio Frequency Live see's Leeds based record label Second To None Music taking over the main room for the 1 year birthday celebration! It has been a crazy year for the dubstep label and owners Vital Techniques, who have seen the label grow from nothing to gaining support from the scenes biggest names including Rusko, Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, 16 Bit, True Tiger, N Type, Mistajam, Funtcase, Distance plus more.... as well as receiving regular support on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

Expect nothing but the best on this night, which sees label owners Vital Techniques teaming up with their signing Parly B, a reggae influenced MC, for the first time! Bringing you a vast selection of dubstep/garage/grime & drum n bass, guaranteed to get the dance-floor hyped! As well as Euby stepping up to grace the decks and MCs Pean and Farze representing.

On the night you can also expect a sick mash up set from Bigger Than Barry's Phat Pat, some tear-out drum n bass from Radio Frequency's Lairy, a killer jungle set from Shock, a mash up of dubstep and grime from Fingaz, and Seeka warming things up with some dubstep. This is going to be a massive celebration of what has been achieved by Second To None Music in 1 year... and you DONT WANNA MISS IT... ITS PARTY TIME!"

It’s our birthday and we will groove if we want to!

Come groove with us at the Leeds leg of the 5yrs of Union Recordings British Tour.

Label co-owner Alejo Galvez has been busy over the last 3 years represent this sound from Bolivia to Poland and Leeds to London, playing alongside some of the biggest playas in the scene including Sonny Fodera, Soydan, Kinky Movement plus many more.

Artists signed to the label include Lee Mortimer, Santiago and Bushido, Pete Le Freq, Damien Bailey, House Inspectors, Tommy Largo plus many more.

Alejo has handpicked Union Recordings family members to be official birthday selectors namely DJ Kinx from Cardiff, Charlie Daniels, Jackin’ Box and Alkatraz of Leeds!

Expect serious deep sounds, new music, and unadulterated funk.

Crack House

After success of the Crack House sound filling out the main room in the early hours at the last few Radio Frequency Lives’ we have a room dedicated all night long. This is British Urban House sound at its best mixed in with an underground selection of booty shaking sounds.

There’s a new man on the scene, some say he looks familiar, year in intense training sharpening his skills, he will not fail. This is the exclusive official launch of the HITMAN. You have been warned.

Standing at 6’ 2’’ weighing in at over 210 pounds heavy weight Sean James, taking a break from blowing up buildings and running through walls, is flying in from Ireland for a one off exclusive return to the ones and two’s on the Leeds circuit, who knows he may even want to come back for good after this one.

Jera and Mella Dee of Tropical come join the RF Live team once again where it all started to get back to their roots and show us how it’s done.

RF Live regular Danny Bear will be there to rip up the dance floor with his blend of vocals and bass, gun fingers!

Fresh to RF Live turntables is Danny Roots with his specialist selection of house beats building this up from the start.
