ERIC VOLTA (Dirtybird/Lo*Kee
‘life to me is about growing, learning, giving and loving and I feel as an artist this should come across honestly in my music...’
The sound of Eric Volta is a result of one artists journey, growing over the years through many identities with a love for a lot of music across many genres. His music is a reflection of the many moods that vary from beautiful open summer venues within the industrial areas to the hidden dungeon venues in the heart of London city.
To date, Eric Volta’s releases and remixes have appeared on labels such as Dirtybird, Four:Twenty, Safari Numerique, 1trax, Nervous Records, Lower East & have earned him the support of many of his peers. A recent remix for APP earned him massive support from the likes of Laurent garnier , Maya Jane Coles, Tim Green, Deetron, Aeroplane, Miss Kittin, Mathew Dear, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Carlo Lio, Tim Paris, Ewan Pearson, Miss Jools and countless others.
He made his first appearance on Hatiras’s Hatrax remixing the legendary –Spaced Invader. A remix that help him to catch the eye & ears of Dj’s & producers all over. He then had his debut release in 2010 on Clause Von Stroke’s Dirtybird Records earning him the support Anja Schneider, Tim Green, Jesse Rose, Riva Starr, Phonique Catz n Dogz and many others including airing on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on Radio 1.
As a Dj in 2010 he made his debut at Lo*Kee’s new years day party followed by headlining Fabric’s main room in the summer with for London’s famed Sunday night event WetYourSelf!. Throughout 2011 he has kept his appearances strictly in the warehouse party scene in East London with most appearances kept secret without mentions on line-ups. That was until heading to Ibiza in the early summer of 2011 with WetYourSelf!, to Dj at Space Ibiza with a line-up that boasted Damian Lazarus, Maceo Plex & Nina Kraviz. This was followed by a 3 day performance at Glade Festival across 3 tents. From the summer of 2011 Eric Volta will be taking up his first residency with London’s most infamous & highly guarded secret intimate party – Lo*Kee.
For many years Eric Volta has released records across many record labels & genres using various aliases such as Kid Dub, Voltaeric,Nuvo Rich, Cuebit and a duo project with long time friend Cozzy D as D DUB. And to add to this many unaccredited productions for many well known artists & Djs. His artistic debut came in the form of Kid Dub on his own record label LogicalNoise records back in 2004 which was then picked up for re-release by legendary label Moodmusic. Under his various pseudonyms Eric Volta has had multiple chart success with Beatport, Juno & Decks and looks set to do the same once again.
DEADECHO (Save You/Flumo/My Favorite Robot)
DeadEcho is a combined force of Rob Bradley and Adam Firman.
In the next few months they have releases on the super hot Canadian label My Favorite Robot Records, after catching the ear of James Teej and Jared Simms, along with E.Ps on superstars Audiofly's new late night label Maison D'Etre and leading Spanish label Flumo Recordings.
Their most famous release “She’s All Over Me” was nailed by the likes of Ewan Pearson who listed it in his most recent ‘’bombs in the bag’’ and Circo Loco’s Clive Henry stated it was ‘’the best promo I have been sent in time…maximum support!’’ ...more recently Claude von Stroke charted their latest track ''Coming At Ya Now'' in Mixmag stating is 'stupid awesome' much to the delight of the lads.
