CLUB CONTEMPORARY CLASSICAL - Das C3 Festival präsentiert neue Musik, die in der Grauzone zwischen zeitgenössischer Klassik und elektronischer Musik liegt.

Beim C3 Festival vermischt Kai Schumacher, Virtuose am klassischen Klavier und Popmusiker, mittels Flügel, Kinderklavier und Elektronik Klänge der Neuen Musik, des Techno, Tonausschnitte und eine Prise Jazz – Ein vielfältiges Programm mit Komponisten Jacob TV, Christopher Biggs, Keith Kirchoff, Gene Pritsker und Carolyn Yarnell.

Victoire ist ein Frauenensemble, zusammengesetzt aus Bläsern, Streichern, Keyboards und lo-fi Elektronik. Die Gruppe präsentiert Missy Mazzolis Melange aus träumerischem, skurrilem Postrock Minimalismus und üppiger Romantik. Time Out New York nannte Mazzoli „Brooklyns Mozart nach der Jahrtausendwende“.

CLUB CONTEMPORARY CLASSICAL - The C3 Festival presents new music which falls into the grey zone between the genres of contemporary classical and electronic music.

At C3, classical piano virtuoso and pop musician Kai Schumacher mixes contemporary classical, techno, sound bites and a touch of jazz using grand piano, toy piano and electronics in a program featuring composers Jacob TV, Christopher Biggs, Keith Kirchoff, Gene Pritsker and Carolyn Yarnell.

Victoire is an all-female ensemble of winds, strings, keyboards and lo-fi electronics. The group performs Missy Mazzoli’s distinct blend of dreamy post rock, quirky minimalism and rich romanticism. Time Out New York stated: “If Brooklyn is becoming a Vienna of the new millenium, Mazzoli may well be its Mozart.“
