Experience this live dj performance show and feel raw bass propelled out of the proper "TurboSound" system installment. The club has upgraded its dj booth, instaled a lighting system and smoke machines. 2011 continues amazing for Craft & Shadi with more tours in various US cities, radio shows as well as many releases. 2010 had already brought International tours in 5 countries, international radio shows, podcasts, music productions, TV coverage, soundcloud recordings listened to in 71 countries, new fans and friends.

- DJ SEOUL (Detroit Techno Militia / Bang Tech 12)

Raised on the East side of Detroit, Bill had an early start in music. At a young age, various forms of counterculture sounds and movements heavily influenced him. His formal training began in 1985 with the drums, and continues today with both traditional, and electronic instruments.

On October 13th, 1995 it was at the Metroplex Records tenth year anniversary party that DJ Seoul was born. It was at this time that Bill figured out the difference between good music, bad music and Detroit music. As a youngster, Seoul remembers listening to The Wizard's mix shows on WJLB and the Electrifying Mojo on WGPR and credits those as early influences on his style. From the Wizard's lightning fast mixes to the Mojo's diverse selections, DJ Seoul really began to appreciate the responsibilty of the DJ to constantly be working and perfecting his craft. Couple that with his affinity for Punk Rock groups like Minor Threat, the Sex Pistols and Operation Ivy and you can see where his dedication to being a true performer comes from. DJ Seoul gives one hundred percent every time he performs and this energy is clearly visible and reciprocated by the audience.

It is a natural fit for him to play the music that he loves. By representing his home town properly and playing Detroit Music, DJ Seoul continues to carry the torch that was handed to him by the greats that came before him. Playing wide assortments of music, from Electro, Techno, Hip-Hop and Soul, to House, Acid and Rare Groove, DJ Seoul has become known for his style of bringing a Hip-Hop Turntablist style of mixing and scratching to his set regardless of genre.

In 1996 he co-founded Bang Tech 12 with Greg Montgomery aka. DJ Eclipse. Bang Tech once represented many acts that have gone on to influence the world, including DJ Minx, Magda, Jerry The Cat, DJ Moreese and 8en. Bang Tech 12 was responsible for many large scale, quality underground events in Detroit in the mid to late nineties including "Sounds of Futures Past", "Rampage", "Vertigo" and Return of the Robot". Bang Tech 12 has grown and continues today as a management company with branches in five states. With over 30 different acts under their wing, Bang Tech 12 is a symbol of quality that spans the entire country.

In addition to a 13 year DJ career that has taken him across the world, Bill writes and produces electronic music with great attention to detail. He collects vintage synthesizers and drum machines which he uses to create music with a very distinct sound. DJ Seoul has been interviewed and featured on T.V. and Radio worldwide including FOX News, WHFR, WCBN, WEMU, WDPM, CJAM, Techno.FM, NDR and Whitenoise Radio on 3voor12. You can find DJ Seoul's production work worldwide on the Detroit Techno Militia and Drugaci Exhibitions Record Labels.

DJ Seoul looks upon the future with determination and hope, "The time is over for looking down our noses in disdain at our fellow man because their beliefs are different, or because they lack the teaching to make educated decisions. By creating a knowledge base, sharing knowledge, and teaching the history of Detroit music to the masses, the uneducated understand and the weak become strong. Through education and cultivation, we can destroy the mediocre standards that have been placed as barriers in the music industry" . DJ Seoul is a leader in the community and has taken it upon himself to continue to usher in an era of change through the art of noise.

"Twice as Proper" and their founders:

Twice as Proper is a New York City Based Underground Techno Events organization. Shadi & Craft co-created the movement "Twice as Sweet" which then became "Twice as Proper Sessions". With an impressive over 200 events and counting in the past 4 years alone, it is now well established in the NYC minimal techno scene. With quite an illustrious list of guest DJ bookings in venues across Manhattan & Brooklyn, there is always something exciting and different to expect from the events. In 2010, Twice as Proper also hosted 8 events in Playa del Carmen (Mexico) during the winter, while keeping regular NYC events alive as always. 2011 rides on this wave, as last year was fantastic for the two artists, bringing International tours in 5 countries, international radio shows, podcasts, music productions, TV coverage, soundcloud recordings listened to in over 71 countries, new fans and friends. Craft & Shadi have been a DJ duo since 1994 on those legendary Technics 1200's. Then followed the years of CDJ technology and mixers with effects, always keeping it dark, deep, dirty real serious. They now often perform live mixes with the ultimate Xponent controller, with many built-in live effects. They go on with explosive sets, chopping' up loops and samples, all while in the mix. The result is always "Massive". Craft & Shadi promise to rip it Proper. No crap.
