Datarock, derived from the Norwegian word for 'computer' — 'datamaskin' – and the word 'rock', is a Norwegian electro rock band originating from the same Bergen scene as Röyksopp, Annie, the Kings of Convenience, Erlend Øye and Casiokids. Since the early days Datarock has played over 700 gigs in over 33 countries and released 2 albums (Datarock Datarock, Red) and a bunch of Eps and singles. For fans of Devo, Talking Heads and the Happy Mondays.

Ungdomskulen
Ungdomskulen, meaning Junior High School
in norwegian
, is a Bergen based three-piece alternative rock band. The band mixes elements from 70-prog with 80´s new wave and lo-fi indie rock. The band has so far released two albums (Cry Baby, 2007. Bisexual 2009), a bunch of 7¨ singles, and done over 250 shows in 17 countries. Ungdomskulen has had a song featured on FIFA 09 by EA games and the video for the song Modern Drummer was selected as the 5th best indie video in 08 by MTV2.
Earlier this year the band released 'Gimme Ten' a 10 track EP with music videos for each song. The videos went viral over night and got great response on the net. Gimme Ten was also performed in form of live video/concert in Berlin, Oslo (Øya Festival) and at Bergen (Ekko Festival). For fans of King Crimson, Gang Of Four and A Certain Ratio.

Baertur
Baertur (translates into both "picking berries" and being "way off") is Ketil Mosnes' one man band. Ketil is one of the founding members of Datarock and a long time co-worker of Mikal Telle with Tellé records (Röyksopp, Kings Of Convenience, Annie, Young Dreams etc). After retiring from Datarock, Mosnes has toured with different bands, there amongst Annie. Earlier this year he released his first book "Øving er for dritband" about the Bergen music scene from the 90's and 00's, focusing on Tellé Records, Röyksopp and Datarock. In 2010 his first soloalbum was released under the name Baertur on Datarock's YAP Records. On stage Mosnes is joined by up and coming guitarist Markus Dvergastein.

Silje Nes
Silje Nes is an singer-soundmaker hailing from Norway. She makes music with help of various instrument and loop pedals creating epic sounscapes combining noise and alternative pop elements. While touring extensively in both Europe and the US, Berlin based Silje Nes released her second album 'Opticks' on the highly acclaimed Fatcat records last autumn.
