In the middle of the nineties, Don Ramon got addicted to house and techno. He would heat up the dance floor until his feet caught fire! – Never ever tiring. After listening to acts by legendary DJs such as Richie Hawtin or Sven Väth he decided to buy his own decks and 1997 he began spinning vinyl.

The problem was that as he was living in a little sleepy Swiss city in the countryside, there were not many djing gigs to be had. Well, the fact that nobody thought he could really make a go of his new found passion motivated him all the more and before long he, together with a few friends started organising little parties in the Swiss outback. These wonderful parties in were held in some awesome locations, near rivers under shady weeping willow soon became sought after by a lot of inside party friends, seeking good vibes combined with an excellent taste in music.

2000 saw Don Ramon move to Zurich and soon he became co founder of the Cheeky Choice Collective with close friends San Marko and Lorenz enabling him to organise parties throughout Switzerland and earned residencies in some of the most prestigious Clubs in Zurich (Hive, Dachkantine and Spinder Galaxy or Cabaret). Having been such an essential part of the musical fabric of Zurich, and armed with years of experience and the confidence of having the same team around he recently took the leap in October 2010 and opened “Frieda’s Büxe” Club in the heart of Zurich.

Musically he is one of the mist consistent artists around; his presence on a line up guarantees a positive vibe. He started producing his own ideas a few years back some years ago, and in 2010 he started collaborating with Fantastic Friends and released his first tracks.
