Oliver $ has all the relative credentials. Berliner? Check. Residency at sometimes-infamous Panorama Bar? Check. Number 1 Beatport track? Check. Now you can add an Australian tour to that list as Oliver $ heads to our shores this summer.

It’s no surprise that over the past 3 years Oliver $’s name and reputation has gradually risen in the world of house music. First turning heads in 2009 with “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “You Got It” on Made To Play. Soon production credits merged into aspects of touring, as he also embarked on a US tour alongside label head Jesse Rose and Riva Starr to promote the Scion release “A Night at Made to Play”.

In 2011 Oliver $’s "Doing Ya Thang" has become this years biggest underground track to date. Released on Play It Down (a sub-label of Made To Play), “Doing Ya Thing” charms you with its amazing vocal hooks while the unmistakable sample of Kenny Dixon Junior aka Moodymann's impromptu DJ speech in Manchester along with low-slung bass, warm claps and hi-hats pulls you into an interstellar trace. The track has been played by producers across the board and has catapulted Oliver $ into a new league.

2012 will be the year that Oliver $ goes from promising house producer to international juggernaut. Catch him now on this Australian tour before he gets too busy to write back to your emails and eventually stops answering your calls.
