thebrokendoor

“The most interesting band of the day award, with drum & bass improvisation, hip hop and experimental noises.” Mudkiss Fanzine
Jason Singh
Vocal sculptor Jason Singh ranges from heavy, dancefloor-filling beatboxing to serene improv tethered to art or film. For this performance, he will take on the score for Streets Of Crocodiles by the Quay Brothers.
“An incredible piece of work from Jason Singh, who afterwards seemed very keen on touring the live score. If it does happen, just quite simply, go.” Cornerhouse Manchester
Veí
A multi-instrumentalist who juxtaposes ambient progressions with drum looping patterns, Veí will improvise over his choice of cinematic backdrop.
“...laconic, languidly looping chimes and shuffles are still awaiting the perfect setting as a scenic film’s score.” Now Then Manchester
