Now Then Manchester introduces a festive special audio-visual treat with thebrokendoor, Jason Singh and Veí all performing improvised sets to their chosen film across their varied experimental electronic styles.

This side project for drum’n’bass band thebrokendoor will improvise a remixed soundtrack to Singing in the Rain.

Jason Singh
Vocal sculptor Jason Singh ranges from heavy, dancefloor-filling beatboxing to serene improv tethered to art or film. For this performance, he will take on the score for Streets Of Crocodiles by the Quay Brothers.

Veí
A multi-instrumentalist who juxtaposes ambient progressions with drum looping patterns, Veí will improvise over his choice of cinematic backdrop.
