As with their unintentional emergence many years ago, so Galoppierende Zuversicht continue with
their incalculable game of improvisation. The game is played with a range of electronic devices and without a laptop.
It can be compared with jumping, the music Bang Goes and styro2000 from Zurich, Switzerland create with their Live gigs, complete with changes, moments of suspension and full concentration.
It is pushing, turning, inexorable. Ever preserving and pausing, the unexpected already waiting behind the door. Awake and ready. Peculiarities exhilarate, disruptive influences bring a clarity which moves with confidence.
Music has always been a major factor in both artists lives. Either as DJ’s at the beginning of the nineties, with residencies at Dachkantine and Hive where they moved hips and caused convulsions on the dancefloor, or when they acted as promoters of parties. Bang Goes and styro2000 also attracted early attention as producers and have released numerous records, including tracks which have been licensed to various mix CD’s, amongst them mixes from Swayzak, Sven Väth and many more world class DJ’s.
As Galloppierende Zuversicht they have released two EP’s, from which tracks were licensed by Sony for the Playstation
game “Mix’n Effects” and by Richie Hawtin for his “DE 9 I Transitions” compilation. Under the name “Aeroflot” they
have composed hours of electronic chill out music for the night series “Swiss View” for Swiss broadcasting.
