We are doing it all over again, but a little bit different ?!? It's all about the party. Waxxx House Party styleee !
The ancient Mayans predicted that the world is going to perish in 2012. Waxxx want you to spend the apocalypse with us, friends dancing unto their doom. Welcome to the End of the World Party.
We are going all out. Expect top quality acts, tremendous DJs, ridiculous multi-sensory installations and the finest party dystopia has ever seen!
(Discoteca Poca / Peacock / &Ting / EVOL / Waxxx)
MrPaul, Liverpool workhorse. Founder of Discoteca Poca. Ex resident of Korova and Chibuku. Weekly spinner at The Red Room Peacock. Promoting and playing @ &Ting. Finding time to write, promote and DJ for Waxxx magazine. The past winner of the Redbull music academy spins from disco to techno. Always working with the crowd and paying respect to the DJ he warms up for.
(Ping Pong / Push / Waxxx / everywhere)
With a list of residencies the length of Seel Street, Stevie Law has long been a bastion of Indie DJing both in Liverpool and nationwide. Renowned for bashing out one raucous jump-up floorfiller after another, dovetailing stuff that really shouldn’t go and breaking sound limiters across the city, Stevie has recently surprised all at Waxxx (and himself) by proving that he can actually mix with varying degrees of competency. Expect a bag of Disted Twisco washed down with a giant glug of stuff and nonsense.
(Discoteca Poca / Peacock)
AKA Jazz Hands is a newcomer and man who wears his heart on his sleeve. Tirelessly working on his skills collecting as much quality house as possible. From Feb 2012 will see Jimmy pick up his first residency @ Discoteca Poca. Watch this space as big things are coming to this young educated music lover who has tirelessly spent every weekend the past to years spreading his wings in clubland.
"A regular Peacock favourite, Glen's eclectic style of mixing infuses elements of deep house and big house classics with the new sounds of electronic music in the form of UK bass and future garage. Expect something unique and inspiring"
