Line-up / Dana Ruh (ARAS/Brouqade)
Nic & Kaleb (Zoo Project)
Daniel Lopez (Dented Melons)
Bakwards Disko (Novum Ibiza)
Moving on from the success of the launch night back in November, which received great feedback from all involved, we are very excited to bring you the next installment of Dented Melons.
For this party we have decided on a change of scenery and have managed to secure the decadent surroundings of NOMAD which, with it's quality sound system and late license is perfect to host the night of amazing music that we have in store for you.
To supply the soundtrack to the night we are very excited to be able to bring you an amazing guest from Berlin, as well as some of the finest local talent that London has to offer.
DANA RUH - (ARAS/Brouqade)
Dented Melons are very happy and excited to welcome Dana Ruh to London. Dana is no stranger to the underground scene, having previously released productions on her own label Brouqade, which she started in 2007, as well as Ostgut Ton, Barraca Music and Buzzin' Fly amongst many others.
This year, alongside Andre Galuzzi, she has also launched a new label ARAS, the first release being their collaboration "Trambolla EP" which has recently received great reviews from Matthias Tanzmann, Tiefschwarz, Laurent Garnier, Agoria and Troy Pierce to name just a few. Dana also has her track "Night till Dawn" featuring on Crosstown Rebels' compilation, Get Lost 4. More recently, Dana's track 'Kickboxing', released on Buzzin' Fly has been causing a stir on dancefloors across the globe.
As a DJ and one of the first ladies of the Berlin music scene, Dana has headlined at some of the world's most renowned clubs and parties, including Berlin's very own Watergate and Panorama Bar. Needless to say we are happy and very much looking forward to welcoming Dana to Dented Melons.
NIC & KALEB - (Zoo Project)
Nic & Kaleb need no real introduction to the seasoned party-goer. In the UK, the Zoo Project resident's have been familiar faces behind the decks of many of the capital's most influential parties for many years, as well as being regular fixtures at parties such as Liverpool's mUmU, and having also played under the Circoloco banner.
More recently they have showcased their talents in places further afield, representing Zoo Project in Ireland, Germany and Spain. Always staying true to their style, Nic & Kaleb have never compromised their deep, techno-infused house sound whilst always retaining the utmost respect of the ever changing scene around them, having played alongside some of the biggest names around. With some exciting productions in the offing, 2012 promises to be a great year for the duo. Now, finally we have been able to nail them down for a hometown gig here in London, and we can't wait to hear what the boys have in store for us.
DANIEL LOPEZ - (Dented Melons)
After our first party, Daniel's star continues to rise on London's music scene. Always ready with whatever it takes to keep his audience musically captivated, this time Daniel will be taking to the decks for a later slot, giving him a chance to showcase the darker side of his musical preferences and to give us a taste of what this guy is really all about. Expect intelligent, amazing music.
BAKWARDS DISKO - (Novum Ibiza)
After a season of spinning records alongside some of the biggest names on the scene at Novum's infamous afterparties in Ibiza, the Bakwards Disko crew come to London to provide us with the kind of set that made them big news on the White Isle last summer. We're looking forward to seeing them again.
