DJ SURV – Having been exposed to the sounds of electronic music since his teenage years, in particular techno and after also digging further into the electronic music genre and growing fond of groups such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and New Order, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a DJ and picked up a pair of Technics turntables a few years back and has never looked back. He recently joined the Astoria DJ Group (A.D.G.) based here in NYC and has been making more appearances in venues throughout the city including Recoup Lounge, UC Lounge, Vig Bar, Nana, Hachi, Tenjune, Marquee, Affaire, the MC and also at various venues on his home island of Malta during the summers of 2010 and 2011 among others. His style is a signature sound of minimal and tech-house. He has also begun his own productions and has recently begun to host his monthly party, the Minimal Sessions, on the first Saturday of every month where he is a resident and has special guest DJ’s joining him. The concepts of the night are sounds focused on the most cutting edge minimal, tech- house and electronic sounds coming out today. Check out some of his sounds at:

TEXTYLE - Textyle is one of the many alter musical egos of Anton K, who has been cultivating his style ever since first hearing his dad's jazz records in the cradle. Following stunts in several thrash metal bands, further rebelling into heavier grindcore and noise experimentation, his development progressed into heavy, dark industrial and psychedelic electronica. Later, seduced by the moody minimal beats boring their way into his head at warehouse parties in the 90's while witnessing the hey-day of NYC nightlife as a spectator, after it's most recent demise he has been working on bringing back the spirit of vintage underground with always positive, yet often uneasy, but necessarily deep, thought-provoking vibes. Techno, house, progressive, heady crossover genres with lots of live tweaking and mixing, his sets are ever anything but predictable.
