Opening + lounge: George Vala


RISE resident DJ/producer Will Monotone is back for another installment of Beat Driven. Will is one of the brightest stars of the studio hailing from Boston, with a catalog of originial production & remixes on labels like Nervous, System, and Mothership. His tracks are played to the world's most discerning dancefloors by A-List DJs like Richie Hawtin, Victor Calderone, and Carlo Lio. Will is committed to his craft, and his success is indicative of that. 2012 is set to be a huge year for him, and we can't imagine a better way to kick it off than with a 5 hour marathon set at his home club.

Opening for Will, then playing in the lounge, will be another Boston-based studio wizard, George Vala. His productions have been featured on three Buddha Bar compilations and have garnered support from artists such as Luciano, Paco Osuna, Mark Knight, Darius Syrossian, and more. Owner of Boom Bam Pow Music, George has been behind two of Boston's biggest house music projects, Sunday Groove and ÆREA. Recently signed to the Smiley Fingers [UK] family, this year promises to be George's best yet.
