We've been following KK for quite some time now and are extremely excited to have him play for us. Based in Manchester, this Dublin born producer consistently makes the finest beat driven, synth soaked House, Funk, R n B and New Jack Swing around today. No doubt, keeping company like 'Heralds of Change' (Hudson Mohawke / Mike Slott) and the Luckyme crew has endowed KK with a finesse other beat builders can only crave. It is this attention to detail that adorns every track, instantly making you want to move. His DJ sets are almost impossible to pin down seamlessly traversing his melting pot of influences, exactly what we love at WBH.

FUNKINEVEN (Eglo / Arpon Records)
Another artist we have long admired and cut from the same funk drenched cloth as KK, now was the perfect time to invite him to make his WBH debut. Funkineven delivered some of our favorite tracks of 2011 taking his sound in a new tougher direction and his set at the Boiler Room had us frothing at the mouth. Expect the unexpected as his sets span the decades taking in everything from House, Techno, Acid and Boogie. Yes yes.
