Soundcrash is proud to début one of the year’s most exciting line-ups at the Village Underground on the 2nd of March. Pay homage to some of the hardest working, most imaginative artists in the game today in a mind-blowing London – Los Angeles beats connection that brings the best of both cities to one of the last remaining Shoreditch underground venues.

Expect Brainfeeder’s Teebs to rouse the evening with his whimsical, shimmering ditties. These aren’t the thundering, razor sharp cuts that have come to be expected from the label, but bubbling synapses and airy melodies that is electronic music at its most stunning and organic. Label mate Samiyam follows with his heady strain of hip hop, quoting the Motor City’s rich musical legacy and carefully selected horror film snippets, only to slather it all in the smoggy low end.

Proving that Britain can hold it’s own, Lapalux channels interstellar rhythms, r’n'b from alternate dimensions and experimental soul as he rounds out the Brainfeeder triumvirate. Om Unit’s fresh, genre-blending take on too familiar sounds is sure to set people dancing. Young Montana? closes the night out with infectious party grooves, showing why he’s already one of the year’s most exciting artists.
