To celebrate our first party of the year, we have not one but two surprises for you.
First off is our brand-spanking-new venue in Forest/Vorst. It’s a big loft with a better infrastructure,
nicer facilities and plenty of room for you to dance the night away.
Which leads us to our next surprise: to mark the start of this new era, we’ll be bringing the
hottest African vibes all the way from Johannesburg to Brussels,
courtesy of our guest of honour Culoe De Song.
Culoe describes his distinctive sound as Afro-Beat that is fundamentally inspired by Deep House.
Despite being barely in his twenties, the South African rising star is taking over the clubbing world
with his tribal vocals and hypnotic beats, the kind that would set even the stiffest of the stiffies
in a wild trance.
We’re also very happy to welcome the Brussels-based DJs Soumaya Dancemachine
and Ben Marzys, as well as Art Paper Editions’ Jurgen Maelfeyt,
who will be in charge of the night’s visual intervention.
And just because 4th February couldn’t come soon enough,
we’re looking forward to seeing you at Daan Van Golden’s exhibition opening next Friday at Wiels.
Lady Jane will be spinning some records as of 9pm for all you art/music lovers out there.
