UNCARNIVAL 012 " La notte dei guerrieri" .

Tutto pronto per il 25 febbraio. L' ippodromo del Trotto di San Siro si veste a festa per questo evento unico nel suo genere e Fiesta Privada sarà presente con la sua Smart Release.

Piccola digressione…storica.

A Milano amano festeggiare fino al sabato (il carnevale non finisce con il martedì grasso qui) e quest' usanza è legata a molti racconti storici: c'è chi sostiene che l' abitudine sia iniziata con Sant' Ambrogio, quando era vescovo di Milano.

Altri sostengono che sia collegata ad una tremenda epidemia di peste e Milano restò chiusa, in quarantena, per tantissimo tempo.

Poi pian piano la situazione migliorò e, finalmente, le autorità diedero il permesso di riaprire la città, proprio il mercoledì delle ceneri. I poveri milanesi si ritrovarono a dover cominciare il digiuno di Quaresima, proprio appena finito il digiuno causato dalla peste...

Così il vescovo di Milano andò dal Papa, raccontò la storia della Peste, di come era stata brutta, e di come la gente avesse sofferto.

Il Papa allora, cedette, e firmò un documento, in cui si dava alla Diocesi di Milano il diritto di festeggiare il carnevale ambrosiano fino al sabato che precede la 1° domenica di Quaresima, per sempre.

Ecco allora un usanza tramandata nei secoli di cui i meneghini sono molto orgogliosi.

Ma veniamo all’ evento.

Si parte dalla mattina, cancelli aperti dalle 12 per un warm up all' insegna dell' arte a tutto tondo in cui si potrà assistere alle performance dei migliori artisti e skater milanesi e non, spettacoli circensi e un mercatino delle pulci per veri intenditori.

Dalle 20:00 alle 4:00, avanti popolo della notte.

Più di 120 djs coinvolti e più di 50 organizzazioni legate da un unico intento: far divertire. 16 sale differenziate per colori e generi musicali e ognuna con un tema ben preciso. Questo é Uncarnival 2012.

Fiesta Privada partecipa al progetto con una Smart Release di tutto rispetto e tema quantomai attuale per il proprio stage : MAYA.

Se sarà l’ ultimo carnevale o no non lo sappiamo, ma chi parteciperà a questo grande evento tornerà sicuramente a casa divertito.

>> FIESTA PRIVADA SMART RELEASE PARTIES 011/012 >> We had three Fiesta Privada Smart Release parties arranged for the summer 011, 10th June, 8th July, 26th August.

Our opening party on 10th June saw Mike Shannon headline alongside Binh. Shannon is one of the scene’s legendary unsung heroes, having had a major influence in his native Canada, he is probably best known as the driving inspiration of Cynosure Records and he now lives in Berlin. Another Berliner, Binh, is a resident of the notorious Club Der Visionaire, the iconic river side location that has been the scene of many a special moment for house and techno purists and one that we hope to bring a little piece of to Roma.

On the 8th July we got DAMIAN LAZARUS [Crosstown Rebel].

On the 27th August, Fiesta Privada favourited Bosconi Records will showcase with Life’s Track, Mass Prod and Fabio Della Torre. Life’s Track is the mysterious and anonymous Bosconi homemade project of two promising artists, 100% built through an analogue and raw production and mainly based on a psychedelic, futuristic and freestyle musical approach. No names, titles or points or reference. Mass Prod and Fabio Della Torre need no introduction to the fans of Fiesta Privada, the former playing regularly at all events and having recently become a frequent performer at DC10 in Ibiza, whilst the latter is the founder and boss of Bosconi Records.

Each party starts at 22:00 and run till 05:00am. Come early, we have limited capacity!
