James What, to be precise. The latest DJ and producer to be gracing the Small & Tall decks.
The London-based artist may have an ambiguous name. But importantly he also has a growing reputation for producing stripped down club monsters on our favourite labels - such as Crosstown Rebels, Pokerflat and Dessous.
His unique sound sits within a mix of raw classic house and the shrewd darkness of gruff minimal and techno; complimenting their counterparts and flitting effortlessly between the three. Based in London but working worldwide, James What plays stripped down, head strong dance music that retains a sensual warmth and timeless elegance.
James's recent 'About Love' EP on Crosstown Rebels met rave reviews and can regularly be heard on more discerning dancefloors. Another fine example of his work is S&T favourite It Feels Wrong.
He will be supported by Small & Tall's finest, 2Gweilos plus we we are also happy to announce that our tallest resident Oscar Axhede will be spinning too, on loan from Sweden.
PS we are working on a secret after party too, details tbc...
