Slipped Disco continues its series of eclectic events celebrating seven years of cross genre clubbing, with a second night of DJs and up-and-coming acts at 93 Feet East.

Split over two rooms, a live room and a club room, and featuring everything from bumping b-line house and cosmic disco to live electronica, folktronica and deep techno.

The first 7 Year Itch in January featured a new singer called Ryan Keen, who has since been garnering a shed-load of Radio 1 airplay.

This month’s line-up sees Justin Robertson (Madchester mainstay and Lion Rock founder) return to spin alongside Slipped Disco resident and Noise of Art founder, DJ Ben Osborne, DJ Rupert The brewer and Mystic Rock.

The Live room features three bubbling-under female vocal talents.

Kal Lavell is a gifted singer songwriter. One of Ed Sheeran’s favoured support acts, her vocal dexterity has been noted by several dance acts, including Artful, who asked her to sing on the Ed Sheeran penned “It Must Be The Bassline”.

Tiny Dragons are a female fronted Brighton based teen band that’ve been stunning all who’ve seen them with their precocious talent. Their sound takes in everything from funk ridden grooves to spaced-out prog rock.

Although she has so far only released one EP, Wolfette has been grabbing a load of attention with her infectious electronic dance music. Her second release is out in late March and is destined to see her acclaim rise further.

Peter Hepworth is a singer songwriter who also has a gift for a&r (Keen and Lavelle being two acts that have benefited from his support). He is also the man behind the word-of-mouth boutique FesTeaval.

The Art Works are an old school trad folk duo who stumbled into an armoury of effects peddles and accidently morphed into something more Balearic. Their sound is not quite like anything you’ve heard before.

Previous acts that have made their UK or London debut at Slipped Disco include Sebastian (Ed Banger), Le Le, Kavinsky, Alex Gopher Live Band, Krazy Baldhead, Casio Kids, Etienne Jaumet, Voyeur, Caged Baby (debut DJ set) and more, while credible established DJs and acts such as Jim Stanton and Severino (Horse Meat Disco), Peter Herbert (Reverso 68), Faze Action, Tim Love Lee, Ashley Beedle, Fred Deakin (Lemon Jelly), Acid Washed, Serge Santiago, James Priestly, Sancho Panza, and I:Cube have regularly featured on the line-up.
