This February 25th its bassline time at Chinese Laundry as we bring you the electro DJ whose been heralded by Moby as producing “a perfect song”, headlined the largest festivals and club gigs across the globe, and hugely influenced the bass driven Electro sound—AC SLATER!

From underground dens in New York, to the grimey warehouse raves of east London, to the throbbing super-clubs in Tokyo, AC SLATER commands party crowds with his high-octane mix of twisted electro and bass-driven beats. His relentless tour schedule sees him in a worldwide whirlwind, touching down in the heart of the party scenes across the globe. Here, he cherry-picks the tracks from the centre of the hardest, fastest and freshest clubland vistas to produce some of the hottest remixes around, with a back catalogue reading like a How To Dance manual. Boys Noize (Yeah), Crookers (Cooler Couleur), Moby (Stars) and Steve Angello and Laidback Luke (Show Me Love) are just some tracks in a long list of dance-floor bangers sparking out from his deft hand.

While AC plays driving dance-floor beats, it's his ability to fuse the underground with the overground that sets him apart from his contemporaries, with tracks like ‘Jack Got Jacked’ blowing up the blogosphere and harnessing the (then) underground electro sound in 2008. AC’s collab with Drop The Lime on numerous tracks like ‘Creepin'’ (2010) and back-to-back sets at "if-you-can-remember-it-you-weren't-really-there" parties has made the man a household name.

Completing the Laundry bill on this unavoidable night for any Electro music fan is PEKING DUK, who’ve been burning up the club and festival circuit with their party beats and unbeatable performances. Having graced the Foreshore, The Warehouse, and All Our Friends festivals, as well as regular headlining spots at Academy nightclub, and having recently signed to the Vicious/Vicious Bitch electro label, Peking Duk are set and ready to steam up the Chinese Laundry.
