After a sell out night with Edu Imbernon on Jan 27th, Melodic is back with a bang.
This month we are bringing you some of Dublin's finest homegrown talent in the form of Giles Armstrong who has been a serious presence on the Irish dance circuit in recent years. Having blown us away supporting Robert Babicz in September with a deep, rolling tech-house set we're delighted to have him in to Melodic to show you what he does best.
Giles progressed from filling his weekly radio show on Power FM with the cream of homegrown and international names, to soon creating a club equivalent through ‘Electric City’ – one of the few groundbreaking Irish club nights of recent years. Giles’ stellar selections and smooth set building abilities have established him as one of the country’s most relevant DJs, with his services being in constant demand. Whether he’s playing ‘super clubs’ like Shine or Tripod, festivals like Electric Picnic, performing basement warfare at Twisted Pepper or spinning at weddings in Leixlip, Giles is always a man for the occasion.
Supporting Giles we have Gary Murphy, a resident at HouseWerk in Dublin's POD. Gary is known for his deep, soulful style and was a very close contender in our recent DJ competition having submitted a seriously slick mix.
Melodic residents, MullJoy, will be kicking off the night at 11pm with some deep grooves and soulful tech!
Plenty of drinks promos so get in early!
