PICNIC'S FOURTH BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA WITH HORSE MEAT DISCO (UK)

It's hard to believe, but Picnic is turning the ripe old age of four. We haven't had a birthday party yet (we thought we'd get those awkward teething years out of the way before we started blowing out any candles!!)

Sooooooo let's parteeeeeee bitches!

We're going to celebrate with one monumental party on March 17th headlined by queer disco legends and Picnic regulars - Horse Meat Disco!

We'll be dancing at one of Sydney's most awesome warehouse locations with DJs spinning over two rooms. The main room, featuring Horse Meat doing a 3 hour set, will also include the incredible local talent of Stephen Allkins, Matt Vaughan and Tamas Jones of Hey Convict!, whilst the other dance floor will be commanded by our lovable mob of Picnic DJs: Matt Trousdale, Mirror Mirror, Marcus King, Perfect Snatch, Long John Saliva, Steele Bonus and Andy Webb.

TWO ROOMS & SIX HOURS of the quality sounds that Picnic has become renowned for.

It's been quite a ride these past years. In 2007 we started touring with the amazing Darshan Jesrani of Metro Area since then we've established the Picnic name and toured all time greats like DJ Harvey, Andrew Weatherall and A Guy Called Gerald; we've brought out some amazing new-generation geniuses such as The Revenge, Justin Vandervolgen and Red Rack'Em; and we've put on parties with a whole heap of incredible old and new talent including Rick Wade, Lovefingers, Derrick May, Rub N Tug, Darshan Jersani, Maurice Fulton, Pantha Du Prince, Greg Wilson and Tornado Wallace - and that's just scratching the surface. There's no way we could have done any of it without you guys so this is as much your party as it is ours!

How else can we say it: THIS WILL BE HUGE!

The party will be BYO so stock up on some frosty ones and roll up from 9pm. We'll announce the venue a bit later, but for now just trust us, it's one of Sydney's best.
