Since 2004 we have welcomed to Headway some outstanding talent such as Green Velvet, DJ Sneak, Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Funk D'Void, Paul Woolford, Ralph Lawson, Tom Middleton, Silicone Soul, Yousef, Fergie, Argy, D'Julz, Will Saul, Pedro, Burnski, Brett Johnson, FC Kahuna, Spirit Catcher, Honey Dijon, Jamie Anderson, Greg Vickers, Tommy Largo, Tim Utah, Zoo Brazil, Gary Beck, Harvey McKay and more...

As DJs, Andy Barton, Graeme Binnie, Neil Clark and Bruce Anderson have featured at various events, most notably Rockness, The Sub Club / Substanz Underground in Glasgow, Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh, The Zoo Project in Ibiza, Riffraff in Middlesbourgh and had a mix broadcast live on Radio 1.

To help us bring in our 8th birthday in style we have someone who is a bit of a legend in Tayside and beyond after catching him for the first time in 2001 @ The Rhumba Club... TIMO MAAS!

TIMO MAAS has officially turned his back on his old stories and his old ways. “I was stuck on a high level,” muses the electronic icon and DJ from his farmhouse in Germany. “By that I mean that I had a great income and great gigs but really, I needed to express myself. It’s all about taking the experiences from all the years before and watching and learning from the changing music market and that’s what I’m doing: reinvention.”

Timo Maas is no stranger to reinvention. In a DJ career that he estimates has now spanned “a good 27 years”, Timo’s musical palette has taken in epic breaks for Perfecto (‘Ubik’), the globe-straddling, still-ubiquitous remix for Azzido Da Bass known to the world as ‘Dooms Night’ and a solo artist album for Warner which saw him work with r n b princess Kelis (on ‘Help Me’) and Placebo frontman Brian Molko. But he’s fairly sanguine about the past and he certainly isn’t a man who dwells on it. Last summer, Timo returned to his most natural home – techno – with the masterstroke called ‘Subtellite’ for Cocoon.

Since releasing 'Subtellite', Timo Maas has played at The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Glastonbury, Dance Valley in Holland, Glade Festival, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Creamfields, Amsterdam Dance Event, Circo Loco @ DC-10 Ibiza, Sankeys in Manchester, Bergain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Global Gathering, Fabric in London, South West Four Weekender in London, Cocoon Club in Frankfurt and more... don't miss Timo's first ever Dundee appearance and first time back in Tayside for nearly 11 years!
