At the age of 17, Zaid began DJ’ing and quickly became recognized by his sound which is an infusion of Blues, Jazz, Soulful and of course Deep house. He eventually began promoting his own events and has had the honor of playing alongside artists such as David Alvarado, Eddie Amador, Miles Maeda, Johnny Fiasco, Halo, Mark Grant, Joshua (IZ), Jake Childs and legendary Juan Atkins.

In 2003, an instant connection was formed when Zaid met his soon to be label mate and lover, Vee. With their shared passion for house music, they combined their talents and formed the record label Sutra Sounds. The label brings sexy and sophisticated sounds for the adult dance music connoisseurs. Zaid and Vee now reside in Mexico with their beautiful daughter and continue sharing their sounds globally.
