On Saturday 31st March, Back-to-Back is teaming up with Odd Rituals, as we take leave of our Dalston Superstore residency for something special. The venue is a 350 capacity space in Shoreditch that will be announced on the day. Whilst that remains secret, the line-up does not. Alongside familiar B2B faces Kezokichi, Pressplay and Alex Carlé, we bring you two amazing djs that we are very excited about: French icon The Hacker currently under the spotlight for his latest release ‘Night Drive’ (link), and Numbers and Rinse FM resident star Spencer. Finally, we have a great visual artist Florence To from Glasgow to take care of the live projections.
THE HACKER (Tiger Sushi/Zone)
Be it through his solo releases, his expansive DJ touring, his acclaimed co-production and live performances alongside Miss Kitten. The Hacker has always stood out as a unique figure in today's electronic music world. Having had such an impact on dance music when blazing a trail through the infamous electroclash scene, it would have been easy for The Hacker to switch his style to stay on trend. However, like fellow retro-futurists I-F, Dopplereffekt and Alden Tyrell, The Hacker remains true to the history and emotions that fuel this music. As such, he knows exactly how to slay a dancefloor.

SPENCER (Numbers/Rinse FM)
Whilst a lot younger our 2nd headliner is another for whom the history of music is as important, as the present. Having spent his formative years in Glasgow music institution Rubadub Records, Spencer’s sets are built on a rock solid musical foundation. Add to this the fact that he is co-founder of Numbers, probably the most on-point label on the planet, has a Rinse FM residency alongside Jackmaster, and what you get is someone who can join the dots between past and present like few others. Oh, and did we mention that beyond his unquestionable taste, he is a badman dj? It is no secret that Spencer is Mr Miyagi to Jackmaster’s Daniel-San. Expect the expert.

Now spending more time in the studio, Kezokichi new remix of AutoKratz track: Kick just went Stellar and with original music on the way, this really is the one to watch...

When not messing about in his studio doing reworks and edits, Pressplay likes to do the odd mash up dj set. He’s a die hard indie fan turned to the dark side of electronic dance music. Co-promoter and resident for This is not a rave! one of Shoreditch's original booty slamming club nights and a resident for one of Dalstons hottest hipster parties Back to Back, Pressplay has also guest appeared at Always Fridays, SOS, Calling all tribes, Bloody Awful Poetry and Brixton Jamm.
Growing fast in the London scene, Pressplay spans genres, and has played alongside the likes of Basement Jaxx, Trevor Loveys and Andy George all the way to the indie new tones The Maccabees and My Tiger My Timing. With influences from Nu-disco, House and indie-electro expect the unexpected and get ready to dance!

ALEX CARLE (Back-to-Back)
