Triumphantly returning to Australia after three sold out nights at Japan’s prestigious Blue Note in Tokyo, Electric Empire play two special shows in Sydney and Melbourne in support of the deluxe re-release of their debut album, with bonus tracks and remixes.

It’s been a helluva ride for the three piece powerhouse, who immediately after finishing a run across the UK with Omar and Beverly Knight, hit the road with Top 20 ARIA Chart artist Aloe Blacc across Oz and then bunkered down for more studio time working on album two. It’s a case of no rest for the wicked as the boys will be back overseas in just a couple months time again, as international demand for their debut album is exceeding all expectations, with thousands of copies selling effortlessly in Japan and the UK, an exciting licensing deal with Soulbeats in France, and a 20 date European tour just announced for May.

The deluxe edition of EE’s debut record is completely warranted due to the international recognition and runaway success of their debut album. ‘Electric Empire Deluxe Edition’ includes the brand new single, ‘Yes I Will’, and remixes of the crowd fave ‘Baby Your Lovin’ by Smoove and Chris Bangs, who both gently House out the track, giving the DJs a little something extra to bump.
