Jam-packed with energy and ready to shake off the winter gloom and kick-off 2012 welcoming in their trademark warm and fun atmosphere.
The night once again highlights what makes Kitsuné the kind of label that entices the likes of Bloc Party, Crystal Castles, Digitalism, Klaxons, La Roux and most recently the biggest break through act of 2011 Two Door Cinema Club.Taking control of the multi-room discotheque, Kitsuné offer us the chance to indulge ourselves in Parisian cool, sample what they have in store for 2012 with the most exciting new music around from a super hot hand picked selection of the labels brightest electrifying young signed bands and DJs from their extended family.
The DJ line up will be supplying a full throttle mix of good time electro, disco and French house headlined by a rare appearance from the secretive Belgium DJ and one of the worlds leading disco and electro house producers THE MAGICIAN alongside Radio 1 stars, Kitsune family favourites and two of the most in demand DJ duos around, MODA label founders JAYMO & ANDY GEORGE. Another Kitsune debut by RUSS CHIMESone of the hottest emerging young producers, remixers and DJs will joinPUNKS JUMP UP another act from the label, another act on meteoric rise.
Room 1 also houses Kitsuné’s roster of signed bands with live performances from IS TROPICAL and their trademark masks, play their unique songs that swoop effortlessly from raw pop anthems to lo-fi dance,and a UK debut by the brilliant JUVENILES plus the band everybody is talking about CITIZENS who are produced by Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos.
