Since 2007, Berlin native Mike Dehnert has co-run his Fachwerk imprint with Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell. The imprint's mission is simple: To release their own take on raw, dance-floor orientated Techno. And so they have done, earning both the label and the artists behind it the respect of in-the-know Techno fans the world over.
Dehnert's own productions (informed by his textured, dub infused live and DJ sets at institutions such as Berghain and Tresor) have also been unleashed on the world via other respected imprints including Clone Basement Series, Echochord Colour and Deeply Rooted House. The culmination of Dehnert's musical experience so far is laid out for all to see on his first artist album, the unashamedly dance-floor, Framework. It's a self proclaimed ''collection of tracks'' on the long running and ever reliable Dutch label, Delsin, and continues in Dehnert's traditional vein of crafting engaging electronic music imbued with a range of moods and emotions.
We're very excited to be bringing Dehnert to Glasgow for his Scottish début performance, as we are long time fans of the Fachwerk sound! This is also a chance for you to see one of Berlin's finest acts in the intimate surroundings of the La Cheetah basement, in other words... UNMISSABLE!!
Support on the night comes from two of Glasgow's own Techno superheroes, Monox residents, The Wasp and Currie.
