INFO / GUEST LIST
It's going to be a special, 'all-day' Easter Sunday party on the westside on Sunday April 8 as Holic will be back in Notting Hill and we will have LIVE BANDS!!
The Kemistry will be followed on stage by Sky Between Leaves with some brilliant, atmospheric alt-rock/nu gaze and soul-laced electronic melodies before the legendary Faze Action take over, bringing eclectic, funky and disco grooves. Holic's DJs line up the deep and underground house later, as DJs Lookleft & Bearight, eightBitRate and Tomoki Tamura lead the dancefloor into the night while resident VJs AVJ (Anomalous Visuals), Kohey and KAZ do the honours on the visual projections.
This is a rare chance to experience a Holic party in west London. An eclectic mix of high-calibre live performers alongside our trademark underground house, as well as great bar service and a fantastic vibe, is bound to keep us going until the early hours.
The Notting Hill Arts Club is an amazing, unpretentious venue famous for its warm vibe, fabulous music and combination of great live acts with some serious dancefloor action. Their generous and friendly bartenders are equipped with the unique Holic Original Cocktail know-how: "You haven't tried it yet"? It goes down like a charm!
And the Notting Hill Arts Club is one of Tomoki's home clubs in London. This nine-hour special promises to bring out the best of Holic, so come join us for a great time!
Faze Action (disco / funk / boogie)
Faze Action are a UK band founded by Simon and Robin Lee. They created the beautiful cello-led classic 'In The Trees', which was released on the ground-breaking Nuphonic label in the mid-'90s. They have since released four albums including the recent critically-acclaimed 'Stratus Energy', and gained recognition as a top live act, touring heavily, playing at Glastonbury and supporting Groove Armada.

The Kemistry formed in London in 2009 as a producer/singer duo releasing a couple of homemade CDs and touring every known venue in east London! Pushing boundaries and genre blending, 'The Kemistry' became an indie underground 'pet love' - record labels didn't know how to take such a new and rarely-marketed genre. But soul-laced melodies, poetic lyrics and electronic production with unaccountable twists led The Kemistry to become a part of London's live underground scene, with a sound that no one could really pinpoint, not even the band. Some call it 'trip hop'...
Sky Between Leaves
Sky Between Leaves are a London based alt-rock/nu gaze ensemble. The band's name was taken from Jarvis Cocker's story about the first time he wore glasses, realising that the holes in the trees were in fact the 'sky between the leaves'. The visual perception translates to the band's sound, which takes us through feverish dreams and stroboscopic haze only to wake us to a deafening glittery reality.
