Schimek,

has started professional DJ career in 1990 mixing his first underground oriented DJ sets inspired by artists like FSOL, Orbital, Orb, Spooky, Leftfield, Aphex Twin, KLF, Grid… Since 1993 Schimek became a resident DJ in two of the most well known Slovak clubs B-Klub and Elam (Bratislava). Beside the DJ-ing he started to work for DMC Slovakia, member of world’s leading organization of DJ's for DJ’s. Since that time he played in the most of Slovak, Czech & some Hungarian venues and events like Apokalypsa, Stigma, Doubledecker, Paradog, BeeFree, U-Club, Stereodrome, etc. givin him an opportunity to play side by side with many great international DJ stars like DJ Rush, Marco Carolla, Umek, Cari Lekebush, Marco Bailey, James Ruskin, Speedy J, Luke Slater, Ben Long, Darren Emmerson, Tiesto, Steve Angelo, Henrik B, Pascal FEOS, Dr. Motte, Thomas Schumacher, Marco Remus, Robert Natus, Mijk Van Dijk, Patrik Skoog, and many others. He succesfully rocked the crowd by playing at Budapest Parade event in 2002 and 2003 facing 600 000 people while also playing BP2003 official after party Bonusz Parade for 25 000 people!!!! Really huge and unforgettable!!!
His performance at Stigma2004&2005 was crowned by many as the best Slovak techno DJ performance of the year.
Dj Schimek’s style could be easily described as neverending searching for new sound of electronic dance music mainly floating and merging across variety of techno or/and progressive/electro/breaks styles. His explosive sets are about to build up as much as possible positive energy to the crowd hand in hand with technical perfection of his mixing style. DJ Schimek's also known for his neverending search for any new artists and labels in this universe :)
Since 2002 Schimek started challenging experience with own music production. The Big Bang track was officially released on CD Compilation BeeFree “Five Elements” in June 2003.
