Its May already, summers on its way, its May Day bank holiday weekend and as ever Bazlands birthday so weve invited down a localish dj that weve been after getting down for a while. Hes been lauded by mixmag, holds a residency at Manchesters infamous colour night and is also a main room regular at the mighty Atomic Jam. Hes deeply involved in the eat your brains events that run nearby at the workhouse and delving effectively into the art of music production. Hes a very busy man and were very happy to announce the traffic debut of:

Mixmag Future Hero Ed Mackie is hot property! Not only holding down residencies with the likes of Colour , Eat Your Brains & Locked, but also a regular at Sankeys Manchester, Electricity Birmingham, Creamfields, Wakestock & Gottwood festivals. Ed has been called up to play Cocoon, M_Nus & Meganite Tours! Week in week out he plays alongside the likes of Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Marco Carola & Mauro Picotto to name a few. Ed gained praise from Zane Lowe after warming up for him at Radio 1 Big Weekend party, followed by Annie Mac and Pete Tong!

On a production front Ed has stepped up to the mark with some great releases with support and downloads from the likes of Ritchie Hawtin, Dubfire, Luciano, Eddie Halliwell, Hernan Cattaneo , Slam, Pig & Dan, Christian Smith, Gary Beck, Hertz and many more. His "Life Support EP" on Mad Hatter recordings smashed into number 1 on the Track It Down tribal sales chart snowballing him to being signed to a major Spanish Label Atypical Farm run by Barcelona based Coyu & Artform records run by Jamie Anderson.
