Here at Ibiza Rocks we’re used to welcoming the world's must-see bands to the White Isle and right now they don't come much bigger than The Maccabees.

To say that Orlando Weeks and co. have got off to a good start in 2012 is an understatement. With the release of their third studio album Given to the Wild the band have stormed into the Top 5 of the album chart receiving mass critical acclaim along the way.

As well as a masterpiece of an album, the South London five-piece can also boast a stunning live show that has sold out venues across the UK including two momentous homecoming gigs at Brixton Academy and the colossal Alexandra Palace in London.

With this sort of momentum behind them we are hugely excited to welcome The Maccabees to the famous, open-air ‘Rocks’ stage for the first time in June.

Speaking about playing on the White Isle this summer The Maccabees said: 'This will be our first time at Ibiza Rocks. It's a pleasure to be involved in such a strong line-up of shows this year. Thanks for having us!'
Joining The Maccabees on the bill are highly touted London 4 piece Theme Park. Here at Ibiza Rocks we have always provided a platform for new and breakthrough talent, offering support slots to those we think have what it takes to go all the way. With Theme Park’s tunes dominating the charts on Internet Radio and being compared to the likes of Vampire Weekend, Metronomy and Talking Heads they are definitely the ones to watch.

This night is already sure to be one of many crowning Rocks moments this summer.
