Our festival will create a platform that explores sound in motion through local + global live performances, interactive a/v showcase, dancing days and nights, knowledge exchange, collaboration and conversation.
Sound In Motion is powered by our Local Music Ecosystem: Artists, Labels, Promoters, Fans, Independent Shops, Technologists and others who support the Music. Sound In Motion is presented by StudioFeed: a non-profit arts collective comprised of members of our local music ecosystem. The StudioFeed mandate is to unlock the energy of the local music ecosystem in pursuit of an increasingly supportive and collaborative music community where artistic, social, and technological innovation can thrive.

All Day: Unofficial Festival Afterparties. A number of different events will be hosted by partners and promoters in the city. Festival ticket/pass holders will receive reduced entry to partnering promotersâ€™ events.
Sound in Motion is accepting submissions for its short film showcase SIMReels to be featured at the festival. The theme of the submission should explore your interpretation of â€œSound in Motionâ€.
We encourage all forms of creative visual expression â€“ original narratives, documentaries, experimental films, animations, etc all acceptable for submission.
Video must be no longer than 7 minutes.
