ilovesundays has created a new innovation for the desirable Sunday clubber, catering for every conceivable strand of “All Things House” from the cool Miami vibe through to the deep underground sound of Ibiza. After another amazing event at The Brickhouse, we have decided at ilovesundays HQ to add another East London underground DJ to our hit list and invite LUKEVEGAS to the party!

GUEST DJ LUKEVEGAS....
As a 15 year old Lukevegas heard his calling to the London dance scene. One Saturday evening in sleepy Heston just of the M4, he could hear the drone in my back garden coming from an Energy Rave in Pheonix way in 1989......and that was it! Like the Pied Piper took the children to water and like the Bisto Kids followed that smell, he was hooked! HOUSE MUSIC and Lukeveags became forever entwined!

At 16 he was a disciple of the Camden Palace Friday night out called TRAX where Chris Paul and Squirrel laid down the law week in, week out. Engrossed by the music he quickly found myself frequenting all the Soho record shops, RED RECORDS, TRAX, BLACKMARKET, RECKLESS, QUAFF and various others all over London in search of that vinyl gold! Heavily influenced by the Detroit and Chicago House sounds of artists like Derrick May, Kenny Larkin, Joey Beltram, Frankie Knuckles, Robert Owens, Master C&J and later LEFTFIELD and early Belgian house.... (The list goes on). These gods of house music gave him a rock solid footing. The inspiration flowed through the years carrying him to the Progressive Renaissance era, which restored his faith in being able to get good music on CD, then on to be a committed follower of the Global Underground series and then on to my chosen Deep/Tech house field.

It was in 2005, in amongst the London club scene but unsatisfied with London house and unable to find the kind of sound he was looking for, or when he did, the fantastic SECRET SUNDAZE parties quickly became overcrowded, he decided there was room to create his own party. Thus with a few trusty friends “SNEAKY” was born. They continued as a small underground house tribe rocking TURNMILLS top floor on Sunday, LOST SOCIETY (timeout bar of the year ), WOODYS of Westbourne park and on to MINISTRY OF SOUND. When all attitudes were left at the door and the focus was on the music and having fun.

As for Luke, being an Electrical Engineer with little time on his hands the introduction of technology has allowed him to quench my insatiable desire to mix house music to perfection and make the progression with a regular set at ILOVESUNDAYS and the birth of LUKEVEGAS. Now with Studio time booked expect to hear a lot more from Mr LUKEVEGAS!
