With one of the most played records of 2012 under his belt, DJ Fresh has announced forthcoming album collaborations with Professor Green and Rizzle Kicks, and details of his forthcoming UK tour following his sell-out Fresh Live shows at the end of 2011.
This year,, Fresh called for the return of a ‘dance music’ category for the Brit Awards:
"Britain makes the best dance music in the world. Artists like Example, Chase & Status, Nero, and others are conquering the charts in the UK and around the world. Electronic music dominated the Grammys this year with artists like Skrillex and Deadmau5 and it's time the Brits reflected what's happening here by bringing back a dance music category".
Now a household name and armed with the first two dubstep and drum & bass tracks to top the national singles chart, DJ Fresh’s discography includes ‘Louder’ and ‘Gold Dust’ (accumulative Youtube views now over 50 million) and ‘Lassitude’. His new album is already one of the most anticipated albums of 2012.
