Gallery birthdays are always nights to saviour, where the trance community unites in paying homage – to another ground breaking year of ‘excellence in the art of sound.’ With their anniversary holding such stature amongst DJs and clubbers alike, the coveted choice of this year’s headliner was easy. One whose performances, always bring a unique atmosphere. Enhanced by cutting edge production and exemplary mixing technique.
It can only be FERRY CORSTEN, two words which evoke that certain special feeling. With London’s NYE debut of FULL ON FERRY an unequivocal success, Ferry’s impassioned set is now permanently entrenched into his loving London legacy. With dreamy synths, crashing basslines entwined with unique euphoric breakdowns, there was only ever one choice.
The poignant ‘We Control The Sunlight’ now an unofficial Gallery anthem, ALY & FILA return to their treasured London home. New track ‘Coming Home’ is A&F’s latest sparkling sensation, typical of that scorching sun kissed trance. Evoking a mass outpouring of joy, that is simply unrivalled in club land. Rounding off this commemorative celebration is CLAUDIA CAZACU. With her last visit making the launch of the widely acclaimed ‘Haute Couture 2011,’ expect lashings of her tailor made tunage.
