///MIAU @ Morlox///

Mr. Statik (BPitch Control)
Hailing from Volos, Greece, Stathis Kalatzis - aka Mr Statik - started his solo career in 2005, signing his first eps to labels such as Karloff, Stock5 and Octopus with a variety of tracks which embrace his moodier and atmospheric side. Racking up more releases and international appearances on the way, Mr. Statik first signed to BPitch Control’s sister label Memo in 2009. In 2010 he released his first ep “Lust but not leashed" on Berlin-based Mo’s Ferry, and his track Sinphony (feat. The Boy) appeared on the Werkschau compilation on BPitch Control. 2011 is the year he solidified his involvement with the berlin label, remixing Jahcoozi and landing his debut ep “Even Giants Have a Soft Spot” in late May.
With a repeat appearance at the BPitch Showcase in Berghain/Panorama bar coming up this summer, Mr. Statik stops off at MIAU to deliver a set full of twists and turns - from deeper house, to drier techno, sometimes a bit dark, even with a hint of the UK garage/bass sound.

Dean Driscoll (Disco&Mercy)
A former press manager for Fabric & Minus, Dean Driscoll has been immersed in the electronic music scene in London and Berlin for nearly a decade. As the duo Disco&Mercy, Dean and his DJ partner Doug Kerr have played at parties of all kinds in London, Berlin & Ibiza and warmed up for the likes of Morgan Geist, Magda, Giles Smith and Simian Mobile Disco.
With the duo now split between Doug in London and Dean in his new hometown of Berlin, Disco&Mercy has now evolved into a twice-monthly radio show presented from Berlin by Dean, with exclusive mixes contributed by special guests including Spencer Parker and Ostgut Ton's Dana Ruh.

Gabriel Ching (Kastalia)
Even being clear that his influences comes mainly from techno and electro, Gabriel focus his performances on feelings rather than musical styles.
Happiness vs melancholy, deepness vs cheek, or tension vs release are some of the antagonisms he likes to express while djing.
Gabriel tries to tell a story through the music, focusing on the dancefloor and reading what kind of musical feeling the audience needs in that very moment.
" ...over the last year I've been working on editing and remixing tracks which never were conceived for the dancefloor, I'm looking forward to playing them at Morlox and seeing how people react to them."

BK (Tin Pot/UK)
Electronic music means two things to BK: House and Vinyl. He has been collecting the stuff for over 10 years. A master behind the 1210's, BK with his classic and contemporary filled sets for sure knows how to a rock a party.
