Northern Lights will be seen in London on June 3rd for the first time ever as 2020Vision conjure up more magic in the capital at their next huge day-night bank holiday session. Their memorable 2011 events at Shoreditch Underground look set to trumped in 2012 given that French techno maestro Laurent Garnier headlines with a spectacular four-hour live/DJ set combination, with more musical excitement coming from 2020Vision boss Ralph Lawson, Glasgow Sub Club resident Domenic Capello and FCL duo Red D & San Soda from Belgium, as well as rising 21 yr old deep house star Jonny Cade.

Once again this event will sprawl itself out over separate arenas and 18 hours of sensory excellentness. As such, there will be two separate sets from Ralph Lawson and FCL as they first spin outdoors on a sun-baked terrace, before heading inside around sunset time to get a little more abstract and sweaty... Basically, then, you get two parties for your pounds - an all-day open-air terrace session and an all-night indoor warehouse show... magic!

And so to the sounds... F Communications boss Laurent Garnier has already assured his legacy in dance music circles for his seminal back catalogue of techno tracks and diverse full lengths which include 'Man With The Red Face' and 'Acid Eiffel', plus his legendary residencies at London's The End, Manchester's Hacienda and Paris' Rex Club. However this breath taking LBS Show elevates the Frenchman to another level entirely. Live Booth Sessions is Laurent Garnier, Benjamin Rippert and Stephane 'Scan X' Dri manning turntables, noise making machines, keys and other assorted sonic toys, giving them the freedom to weave other people's music into the set via decks, manipulating live renditions as they go... quite frankly it needs to be seen to be believed.

On a more traditional DJ tip there is also plenty on offer throughout the label's 2nd 18-hour showcase of the summer. Also joining dance music Northern Lights and long-standing house legends Backtobasics Leeds resident Ralph Lawson and Sub Club Glasgow resident Domenic Capello, will be Belgium’s FCL feat Red D and San Soda. A Pair of house loving producers for labels including Rush Hour and We Play House (which Red D runs) the duo have also been signed to 2020Vision for a forthcoming full length and regularly play clubs like Studio 80, Panorama Bar, Sonar and many others. Part of house music’s new school, they take in a vast array of influences and tempos and turn out some of the most beguiling music you’ll hear as a result. As well as all this, fledgling but accomplished Leeds label FINA (they’ve released the house and disco wares of Roberto Rodriguez, M.A.M, Cottam and more) will invite their own special guests to play in an arena all to themselves and ever on-point Danny Raper will spin his non-standard electronic wares. All in all, we’re not sure which will be more impressive, the real Northern Lights or this mouth watering audio-visual feast of the same name...
