Dj Rute
Rute kommt aus Lissabon, einer Weltmetropole, in der sich diverse Kulturen verschiedenster Länder wie Afrika und Brasilien sich treffen und miteinander vermischen. Seit zwei Jahren lebt sie in Berlin, der Stadt mit der sie sich identifiziert.
Ihre Platten sind ihre Passion, mit deren Hilfe sie den "Organic Groove", ein unwiderstehlich südländisches Lebensgefühl versprüht.

Dj Rute is from Lisbon, the world metropolis where various cultures from places in Africa and Brazil meet and mix together. She has been living in Berlin since 2008, the city with which she has identified herself.
Her records are her passion, with whose help have spread the irresistible southern lands lifestyle of the “Organic Groove”.

What's the Hoo!!?!

The Hoo is the brand new JazzFunkHipHop act in the Berlin musical landscape.
Formed around the parisian keyboardist Anthony Malka with Tristano Pala (vocals and flute) and Uele Carboni (bass) from the IItalian Funk combo Fun*Key plus the Moscow born drummer Alex Sitnikov.
In their respective projects The Hoo members toured in France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Russia….

Musically it's like The Roots jamming with Jay Kay in his early years. It's all about groove and energy about mixing the music they love (HipHop, DiscoFunk, DnB, Jazz, Soul…). About head banging and sweat.

Since the end of 2011, The Hoo are recording their first EP with producer Romain Rossi.
Hoo Nose!!?! will be released by the end of March.
It is a combination of DiscoFunk, New Oldschool HipHop tracks and AcidJazz Flute anthems.

Keyboardist Anthony Malka is also known as DJ Antwan (JazzFunk & FrenchHipHop) and is completing the collective called La Juperie.
