Konstress is a musical project born in 2008 from the mind of the italian producers Maurizio Velardo and Andrea Ciancia. While living near Naples, they have been influenced by local dance scene, which push them to create their own sound full of nuances with a strong dancefloor impact. Konstress’ first release comes the winter of 2008 with “More wet less dry”. The four track EP, signed by Splitsound Records and played by djs like Joseph Capriati, Remute, Abnormal boyz, Andrea Ferlin and many others, put them into the worldwide scene. After the release on Viva music with the sweet-funky-tech-house track “Groans”, Konstress will propose a new concept of deep-funky house on labels like Schatten, Four Fingers Hand and Phaze. Their attention to all types of music, leads them to test the most varied nuances of electronic music, creating an eclectic sound that is constantly evolving… stay tuned!
